Before you get started, please make sure you have finished setting up your personalized profile in the Immerse application. If you haven't done so, please check out our Immerse application setup guide here. Once you finish, please follow these steps in your Cubase session.
Step 1:
Click on the 'Studio' -> 'Audio Connections'; Right-click to add a bus.
Then click again on your new bus to set 3rd order ambisonics as the Main Mix.
Step 2:
Turn on your 'Control Room' and right-click to add 'Headphones' output. Then, select your audio device here.
Step 3:
Now, you should be able to see the VST Ambidecoder appearing on the right side of the Control Room. Click on the 'e' to open it.
Step 4:
To load your Immerse profile, click on the down arrow icon next to the Immerse button and select your profile on the dropdown menu.
Step 5:
Click on ‘Edit’-> Preferences
On the VST-> Control Room section, please select 'Use Phone Channel to Preview Channel.'
Click on 'Apply,' then 'OK.'
Step 6:
Create a new audio track, and make sure to select the 3rd Ambisonics out as your audio output. Then, import your audio onto that track. If you don't have Ambisonics handy, you can download it from here.
Now, you are all set. Start listening! Please get ready to fully immerse in 360 spatial audio in your Cubase session. Enjoy!
