Do I need to install a mobile app to set up my Personalized Profile in Immerse Virtual Studio? – Embody

Immerse Virtual Studio does not require a mobile app but instead uses the default camera and web browser already installed on your iOS or Android smartphone.

The first time you launch Immerse Virtual Studio, you will be guided through a Personalized Profile setup, which includes your HRTF scan. After entering and verifying your email address, a unique QR code will be generated and displayed inside the plugin window. Open the camera app on your phone, point it at the QR code on your screen, and tap on the URL that pops up on your phone. This will open your phone’s web browser and connect to our web-based app to capture a picture of your ear using your smartphone’s self-facing camera.
