Monitor Aspect Ratio
Immerse aligns your sound experience with your natural head movement. While gaming on monitors of different sizes and aspect ratios, your head movement range is different, i.e., on an ultra-widescreen monitor (48''), your head movement range is larger than the one observed on a regular 21'' monitor. Immerse auto-detects the aspect ratio of your primary monitor and auto-calibrates its Head-Tracking engine to ensure that the sound experience, when combined with our awesome head-tracking capabilities, is optimized for you and your setup.
If you happen to update your Primary Monitor aspect ratio, or in case of a multi-monitor setup, you have changed your Primary Monitor, please click on the Refresh button in the Head Tracking menu. Immerse will once again recalibrate itself to your updated monitor configuration. There is no need to restart the software.
HEAD TRAKR Sensitivity
Small movements of your head give you the ability to understand where a sound is coming from in real life. Immerse brings this superpower to you and puts you in control. Using this parameter, you can fine-tune the amount of head movement needed for you to localize sound and gain that advantage. Low sensitivity means a relatively bigger head movement (Ex: 3-degrees) is needed to change the sound field and pinpoint the sound direction. High sensitivity value means a micro-movement of the head (Ex 1-degree) itself will change the sound field.
