Why can't I hear footsteps in Call of Duty?

There could be a few reasons why footsteps are hard to hear in Call of Duty:

1. We recommend these in-game audio settings for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1. 
2. If you are playing BO6, its possible that your opponents are using the Ninja perk, which mutes their footsteps.
3. There have been some bugs at the launch of Warzone Season 1 effecting footstep audio.   We recommend to update to the latest patch and to stay updated to get the latest changes from the Call of Duty audio team.
