What in-game audio settings should I use with Enhanced Headphone Mode?

The following in-game audio settings are recommended for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone.

1. Stereo output and your headphone as the output device
2. Do NOT have Mono Mode selected
3. Audio Mix: Headphones (we do not recommend Bass Boost)
4. Try turning down Music and Cinematic Music, and put Sound Effects at volume 100.  This helps feature the important SFX in the world which Enhanced Headphone Mode spatializes.
5. Ensure in your Device's Audio Settings, that the audio output is NOT being sent to a surround sound or multichannel output.
6. Also, be sure to disable any other 3rd party spatial audio or surround sound options on your gaming rig and headphones, such as Sony PS5 3D Audio, Dolby Atmos, Windows Sonic, or other in-headphone surround sound.  See this FAQ for instructions.
