Sample rate error when opening a Pro Tools session with Immerse Virtual Studio as the Audio Device Output (Windows) – Embody

In Windows, if you've selected Immerse Virtual Studio as your Playback Engine in Pro Tools, and when trying to open a new session/project, you see this error (below screenshot), please make sure you've checked the configuration steps below:

In Immerse Virtual Studio standalone application, make sure that your audio output and input devices have the same sample rate, which should match the target session/project sample rate. You may need to verify this in your Windows Sound settings.
If you have selected a device integrating both audio input(s) and output(s), even if no audio input is selected on Immerse standalone, both sample rates should match the requested Pro Tools session sample rate.
After doing any audio device and/or sample rate adjustments, you may need to restart Pro Tools and Immerse standalone to reflect the changes.
